Babes Pram-Fit is a 6 week post-natal group personal training program. We work those mummy muscles, redefine those curves and give you the information you need for lifelong health and fitness.
Babes Pram-Fit is a complete post-natal weight loss and exercise program.
We use tools to help you succeed! Your own Babes food/exercise diary, resistance bands and a hardcore, sexy mat to workout with us and at home.
Babes Pram-Fit benefits both the mind and the bodies of our mums. Recently, researchers from the Queensland University of Technology studied the effects of exercise and social support for postnatal women and the results show that these types of programs are an effective way to help women combat and prevent PND symptoms.
So, apart from a great workout, we encourage a good chat in class and social interaction for you and baby with other people and each other.
We welcome all pre school children from birth to 5 years old (who are happy to be in the pram for most of the class).
ALL fitness levels are welcome.
The Babes Pram-Fit program consists of cardio drills, strength-training/resistance exercises plus stretching. The program is progressive so as you get, fitter and stronger, the exercises are modified and changed to reflect your ability.
Your body IS different after the baby
Having a baby can really alter the way we do things with our bodies. The Babes Pram-Fit program works on increasing your body awareness, evening out muscular imbalances and improving your core stability.
We also spend time on nutrition, diet and increasing your overall activity levels to help you understand health and fitness for life.
Babies RULE!!
Your child in a pram is key component of the Babes Pram-Fit program so we encourage you to bring them and other siblings to class. Let the family become part of your new exercise routine. NO crèche, babysitting or day care expenses!
If your baby is having an off day/night/day, bring them down and let a Trainer hold them for an hour while you work out. Remember, we put mums first (ok, and babies!).
Don’t worry if they cry, we ALL have crying babies from time to time – it’s really important for mums to look after themselves too. You need a release, social contact and time to do something lastingly positive for yourself.
We are here to help support you and your little people.
You don’t have to do it alone! Babes Pram-Fit is a social, effective program in which to make new friends and get fit!
